Healing Sessions & Fees - Reiki & more

Reiki is a simple, very profound method of healing with the hands. It is done fully clothed, is non-invasive and non manipulative. Reiki provides relaxation, relief from stress, reduces pain, and promotes balance and wellness for the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Reiki is a technique started by Dr. Mikao Usui in 1914 in Japan.

The individual sessions with clients provide pain and stress relief that continues beyond each 20 minute to 1½ hour session. Reiki classes and workshops are also offered so that students will learn how to access the Reiki healing energy for themselves. Classes give students the necessary attunements so they can channel the Reiki Universal Healing Energy for themselves and others.

We see individual clients at the Reiki Healing Center (RHC), in Media, Pennsylvania. Individual sessions are by appointment only.  See below for the standard fees, followed by discounts and opportunities for special fees and mini-sessions.

Location for Sessions:

• Reiki Healing Center, 20 South Olive St, Suite 305, Media, PA 19063
• Your location if you are homebound or after first visit to the office for $110 minimum charge with additional $1 per mile over 20 miles from RHC.
• Warwick, NY on first or third Wednesdays or Thursdays. A month's notice is required for appointment or to schedule class. No mileage charge for 20 mile radius of Pine Island, NY and no mileage if the session can be scheduled along the way to or from Warwick, NY.
• We also offer sessions in corporations, nursing homes, rehab centers, sports clubs, senior centers, health fairs, street fairs, and other locations by arrangement or appointment for individuals or groups

We offer several ways to save money when you seek a Reiki session at the RHC.  This section describes the special fees that are available.

Discounts

A discount of 10% off the standard fee of a Reiki session is available for seniors, students, the unemployed, people with a disability, or people with chronic illness.  Multiple 10% discounts can be applied for people who are in more than one of these categories. This discount is available for most treatments at the RHC, including Karuna Reiki and Magnified Healing. 

Half hour treatments may be available for some of these sessions at a reduced fee.  Inquire when making an appointment at 610-348-5698.

Clinics

• There are several Reiki Clinics that offer reduced rates:
  Reiki Clinic fourth Monday of each month at the Media Fellowship House:  Free mini-sessions for those over 55 and for those who use the Hometown Senior Center, call Myra for details, 610-348-5698.  See also the RHC newsletter.
• Reiki Clinic last Wednesday of each month:  free 15-20 minute session, or $20 off a full session, by appointment, call Myra, 610-348-5698.
• Reiki Sliding Scale Clinic every Thursday with Joan Nikelsky, between 2 pm and 7 pm, by appointment:  Fees for a full Usui Reiki session range from $45-75 based on income, contact Joan at 215-498-5346 or email
• Also check the calendar on the RHC website for posted times of the Sliding Scale Clinic, in case of occasional changes.
  

Join Reiki Healing Center

People who join the Reiki Healing Center and pay a six-month or one-year membership fee may be entitled to a discount for sessions.  Check with the specific practitioner.

Special Promotions

Special promotions are sometimes offered at the Reiki Healing Center or by individual practitioners.  All these opportunities are usually posted in the RHC newsletter or elsewhere on the RHC website. Healing Circles & Shares

Finally, there are Healing Circles and Reiki Shares at the RHC. The Healing Circles are for people new to Reiki and are usually held at the same time as Reiki Shares (for experienced Reiki students or practitioners).  During the Healing Circles, a mini-session is offered to newcomers for a suggested donation of $5-20, or free to those on a limited income.

Learn Reiki to heal yourself & others with Reiki

Private or group Reiki classes and workshops are taught so that students will learn how to access the Reiki healing energy for themselves. They will also receive the necessary attunements to make them transmitters of Universal Healing Energy during a Reiki session to relax and heal themselves as well as others. Certificate is given at the completion of each level.

Reiki and Magnified Healing ® Classes are normally held at the RHC in Media, PA or Eviama Life Spa, Philadelphia, PA, or Warwick, New York. Classes can be held at your location with three or more students.  See classes and workshops page for information and prices.

 

Reiki Shares

At the Reiki Healing Center (RHC), we offer “Reiki Shares" -- free sessions where those attuned to Reiki divide the time available and exchange sessions with each other in a group setting.  Each person gets a turn on the table; thus, several Reiki practitioners work together to treat one person at a time.

The Reiki Share is for any level Reiki students, practitioners, or masters who have been attuned to at least Reiki Level I.  

Come recharge your Reiki batteries. You can choose to just share with other Reiki practitioners or to also practice giving Reiki to newcomers unfamiliar with Reiki (see next section on Healing Circles).  Times of Reiki Shares and Healing Circles are listed below; also check the RHC newsletter for current information.

The suggested donation for Reiki Shares is $5 to $20; members of RHC can attend free.

Reiki Healing Circles

The RHC offers Reiki Healing Circles where people not attuned to Reiki energy may come for free mini-sessions if on a limited income, or give a donation (suggested $5-20) for a mini-session from one or more experienced Reiki practitioners.  The Healing Circles are often held at the same time as Reiki Shares (see section above).

Reiki Healing Circles are a great way to experience what energy work is about.  Reiki is a gentle but effective stress reliever as you relax under the comforting hands of those present at the Healing Circle.  Times of Reiki Shares and Healing Circles are listed below; also check the RHC newsletter for current information.

Clinics

A clinic is an opportunity to receive sessions at reduced rates. We offer Reiki clinics and Acupuncture clinics.

Myra's Reiki Clinic is the last Wednesday of the month by appointment only 610-348-5698 at the Reiki Healing Center. Free 20 minute Reiki mini-session or $25 off a complete one hour Reiki session. Call 610-348-5698.

Joan's clinic is every Thursday afternoon and evening by appointment. Fees are on sliding scale. Call 215-498-5346

Eloise has a Reiki Clinic on Mondays from 12-2pm where she does Reiki mini-sessions ($20 for 20 minutes) and an acupuncture clinic on Wednesday from 12 - 4pm. Fees are $20 - $45 per session, on a sliding scale. See Eloise's page or call 267-240-5109 for appointment.

Magnified Healing ® Phase III Sessions

Introduced in 1992, Magnified Healing ® is a wonderful technique for taking your healing experience and spiritual journey to the next level.  Its teachings were channeled by Kathryn Anderson and Gisele King from Lady Master Kwan Yin.

Magnified Healing® combines breath and energy channeling to connect and heal all parts of your being.  This healing process clears chakras, rewires the nervous system, and builds the light body in preparation for ascension.  It also scans and heals you, stimulating the calcium on the spine, which helps to heal your whole body. 

Something amazing about Magnified Healing® is that it will actually replace the etheric energy-body around human organs.  This speeds up physical healing and applies it to where it is most needed.  The most valuable aspect of Magnified Healing®, is that it is a magnificent tool for healing karma.  Healing our karma helps to eliminate negative cycles and patterns in our lives.

New at the Reiki Healing Center: Bio-Touch™ Sessions

Bio-Touch™ (BMTH) is a simple, hands-on healing technique that can be used to address all types of health concerns. Practitioners use the first two fingers of both hands to lightly touch specific points on the body. Over time the combination of correct points and light touch seems to enhance the body’s natural healing ability.

Bio-Touch™ healing must be on bare skin.  The recipient may partially clothed.  A two-piece bathing suit is recommended for women, and is the appropriate dress for classes and sessions.
